If your maintenance is measured in kilometres, a factory CMMS isn't built for you.
Plant CMMSs assume the next asset is a two-minute walk away. Yours is on the other side of the province, at the end of a track with no signal. Maptainer is designed for exactly that, and for four specific ways of living with it.
Which of these four profiles is yours?
- You maintain assets for several customers Each contract has its own SLA, its own report and its own margin, and you need to see them separately without piecing them together by hand at the end of every month.
- You operate your own portfolio of sites Solar plants, wind farms, logistics hubs or industrial parks spread across the territory, which you need to manage to the same standard and be able to compare with one another.
- You operate a water network and its meters Pipe sections, service connections and metering points that are maintained and read in the field, and that you need in a single system on top of the network geometry.
- You survey inventories for your clients Fieldwork for third parties that you could deliver as something the client can look up, and that you can keep maintaining as a service.
Each one is written in your language, not ours.
Better to know now than in month three.
- Plant maintenance If your assets are inside a factory and getting from one to the next is a two-minute walk, a general-purpose CMMS will serve you better and will probably cost you less.
- Building facility management Maptainer's data model is built around territory and networks, not floors, rooms and locations inside a building. You would have to force it to fit.

Don't see yourself in any of the four?
If you maintain distributed assets and aren't sure where you fit, request an evaluation session. We ask about your operation first, and in 30 minutes we tell you whether Maptainer makes sense for you. And if it doesn't, we tell you that too.
